TECTERRA Announces Calls for Proposals (CFP) for Four Grant Programs Up To $500k Each

TECTERRATECTERRA enables Canadian companies and Alberta applied research institutions to bring innovative geomatics solutions to market. TECTERRA’s uncomplicated investment and grant programs are building blocks designed to reduce risk and provide support through each phase of product development and commercialization.

Deadlines for CFPs are fast approaching! Detail below. 

1208-GEO-CFP: Geo-Placement Funding Program (Alberta)
Application Deadline: 16th August, 2012
This program is designed to create economic value for small companies by providing a non-repayable grant of 50% (up to $50,000) of a net-new technical or business geomatics position salary for a period of one year.

1209-IND-CFP: Industry Investment Program (Canada Wide)
Application Deadline: 6th September, 2012
Investment funds ranging from $100K – $500K per project to enable the development and commercialization of geomatics technology.

1209-p2P-CFP: Prototyping and Pilot Project Funding Program (Alberta)
Application Deadline: 6th September, 2012
Investment funds ranging from $100K – $400K targeted for the initial stages of commercializing a new geomatics technology concept.

1209-UNI-CFP: Alberta Applied Research Funding Program (Alberta)
Application Deadline: 6th September, 2012
This program seeks application from a Principal Investigator at one of the eligible Alberta post-secondary institutions in collaboration with an industry partner and/or end-user government agency with a direct interest in commercializing and/or utilizing innovative geomatics technology.
