Our friends in Silicon Valley are extending two great programs to Canadian technology entrepreneurs:
48 Hours in the Valley [Deadline March 28th]
48hrs in the Valley is the C100’s flagship mentorship program organized in conjunction with the Canadian Consulate in the Valley. Twice a year, 20 of Canada’s most promising startups are invited to the Valley for two days of mentorship, workshops, investor meetings, strategic partner visits and networking. The next 48hrs in the Valley will be from June 10-12. Apply before March 28th: http://www.thec100.org/blog/2013/03/applications-for-48hrs-close-at-midnight-this-thursday.
TechWomen Canada [Deadline April 5th]
The Canadian Consulate has just announced a call for applications for their TechWomen program in the Valley from May 13-16. Mentors include senior executives from Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, HP, Cisco, IDEO, Groupon, Salesforce, Symantec, Twitter, Microsoft, and Apple. Following the 4-day program, the mentorship will continue online for a period of up to two months. This is a great initiative for Canadian women in tech. Apply before April 5th: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TechWomen2013.
We urge you to take advantage of these programs.
